Today we went to see Coy's jobsite! He is working in the air traffic control tower at the Boise airport.
A very secure place!
At 290 feet tall, it is the tallest building in Idaho!
Up to the top! I think we went up 11 stories and then walked up two flights of stairs.
The view from the cab was breath taking! Pictures don't even do it justice. They use a really high quality glass so they have really good visibility. It was neat to see the process of how it all works up there. Each station is responsible for a plane for only a short time then it is passed off to the next station. The controllers only work 15 minutes and then they have to take a break, they want their focus to be really good! I would tend to agree!
The boys were of course impressed by Daddy's tractors!!!
